So we asked you, our readers, to vote for your favorites and the results are in.

The Booth Western Art Museum maintains the world’s largest permanent exhibition space for Western art. The building itself was designed to resemble a pueblo.

The collection of paintings, sculpture, artifacts and photography focus on themes of the Civil War and American West, with works by American legends such as Frederic Remington, Charles Russell and Andy Warhol.

Best Arts District: University Circle in Cleveland, Ohio

University Circle packs a lot into just one square mile. Art lovers will find the Cleveland Institute of Art Reinberger Gallery, Cleveland Museum of Art, Museum of Contemporary Art and the Sculpture Center, as well as several theaters, music halls and performing arts centers.

Best City for Street Art: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Oklahoma City might not be the first place that comes to mind when you think about street art, but this city has become a veritable outdoor gallery. Start your explorations in the Plaza District before continuing on to the Western Avenue corridor and Bricktown.

Best Immersive Art Experience: AREA15 in Las Vegas, Nevada

AREA15 calls itself an “immersive playground” featuring art installations, an interactive distillery, flight simulator, immersive sound and light spaces, axe throwing, arcade games and AR experiences. A highlight of the space is the new installation from Meow Wolf known as Omega Mart.

Best Sculpture Park: Nathan Manilow Sculpture Park in University Park, Illinois

This sculpture park at Governors State University in Chicago’s Southland features a collection of 30 large-scale sculptures displayed across 100 acres of prairie landscape. The free outdoor museum also hosts programs to help connect visitors with art and nature in a more meaningful way.

Best Small Town Arts Scene: Tubac, Arizona

Tubac was founded in 1726 as Arizona’s first European settlement. Today, this sleepy town and artists colony just outside of Tucson is a popular destination for shoppers, who come for the 80-some shops and galleries specializing in colorful arts and crafts. The Tubac Golf Resort was featured in the Kevin Costner film “Tin Cup.”
