Sensex and Nifty were trading flat on Monday in line with weak global cues
Share Market News Today | Sensex, Nifty, Share Prices LIVE: Domestic equity markets benchmarks BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading flat on Monday, taking cues from weak global cues. BSE Sensex slipped into the red after opening nearly 100 points up in the early deals. Sensex was trading flat at 38,866, while the Nifty 50 was ruling at 11,513.50. HCL Tech shares hit a fresh 52-week high of 841.10 apiece, rising 3.73 per cent on BSE, after the company in a press release announced its intent to acquire DWS Limited, a leading Australian IT, business and management consulting group. The other gainers on the list were Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Infosys, Tech Mahindra, M&M, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Asian Paints, HDFC and Tata Steel. on the flip side, Bajaj-Auto shares were top Sensex laggard on BSE. The stock was trading 1.42 per cent down at Rs 3,005.50 apiece. So far, the stock hit the day’s high of Rs 3045 and low of 2996.35. ICICI Bank, Nestle India, Power Grid Corporation of India, Bajaj Finance, Bharti Airtel and ONGC were among other losers on the pack.
Today, Route Mobile shares will be listed on BSE and NSE. The Rs 600-crore Route Mobile IPO received a good response, subscribing over 74 times. The cloud communications service provider, which was open for subscription from September 9-11, in the price band of Rs 345-350, received bids for over 89 crore shares as against the total issue size of 1.21 crore shares.
