Share Market News Today | Sensex, Nifty, Share Prices LIVE: Domestic benchmark indices were moving between gains and losses on Thursday. S&P BSE Senex was down 60 points at 12 PM while the Nifty 50 was below the 11,550 mark. Index heavyweights like Reliance Industries and ICICI Bank along with Bharti Airtel were trading with losses. Titan, Tech Mahindra, and Maruti Suzuki were the top Sensex gainers. India VIX was trading at 21 levels. Nifty Midcap and Nifty Smallcap indices were again outperforming the benchmark indices. NASDAQ ended above the 12,000 mark yesterday. Asian peers, on were trading mixed on Thursday.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will be meeting top executives of banks and non-bank lenders. It is expected that the Finance Minister will be discussing the one-time loan restructuring programme with lenders as the moratorium period has ended. The Rs 3-lakh crore credit guarantee scheme for MSMEs may also be on the agenda for the finance minister. The meeting comes ahead of the expected announcement of the KV Kamath-led panel’s recommendations on eligibility parameters for the restructuring of loans.
